Implementation

There are four(4) main modules in this application:

  • Registration
  • Requests and Allocations
  • Trips
  • Invoice

Suppliers (Truck Owners):

As a supplier, you will be able to create a user account and register your drivers and trucks. These trucks and drivers will be reviewed by the Kiteko Lite team and will be approved or rejected. If a driver is approved, a user account will be created for them. Suppliers can assign drivers to trucks.

Suppliers will also be able to track and see details of trips that have been assigned to their drivers. After trips are completed, payments are made to the suppliers based on the agreed contracts.

Customers (Goods Owners):

As a customer, you will be able to create a user account and make a request. The request will be allocated to the best truck based on location, profitability and other parameters. The allocation is done by an AI based system. The system suggests the planned trips for each request. This planned trip is then shown to the customer. If the customer accepts the planned trip and price, the request is then allocated to the selected driver.

Drivers:

As a driver, you will be able to login with the phone number registered with your account. You will receive regular notifications of trips available.

Drivers are required to provide regular status updates on the progress of the trips. These status updates will be shown to the customer, supplier and kiteko lite team. When a driver reaches a loading or unloading location, the pickup and receiving agents will have to confirm the quantities loaded and unloaded and sign. The driver can only end the trip after the receiving agent has confirmed and signed. The supplier, customer and kiteko lite team will all receive copies of this confirmation.
